Eligibility for Volunteering

The safety and security of our residents are of paramount importance. We rigorously vet volunteers to ensure it’s a good fit for all involved. Qualifications and requirements vary. Certain documentation and training required for volunteering are mandated by the State of Texas. Volunteers 14 years of age and older must pass a background check.  Volunteer Opportunties

Volunteers are integral to promoting healing and hope for the youth and families we serve. By joining our team of volunteers, you will make a difference in the lives of those who reside on our campus.

Due to our commitment to protecting the children and families we serve, individual volunteers must be 18 years of age or older, and group volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. We are unable to provide volunteer hours for individuals completing court-ordered community service. If you have questions or concerns regarding an event or age requirements, contact the Advancement Coordinator.

Volunteers must complete a background check to provide a professional service to our campus residents. A background check is not necessary if service is provided at a place of business.
